We had a good turnout for Remembrance Sunday with 45 PMRAFNS Association Veterans marching 40 also joined us at the RAF Club for lunch
Due to the number of events this year it is going to be difficult to arrange an AGM and dinner, therefore I have taken the decision to have a virtual AGM using Google meet on the 6th November 23 at 1300. If any member would like to join us please send me an email at:
chairman@pmrafnsassociation.co.uk and I will send you a link to join the meeting closer to the time.

Princess Mary’s Royal Air Force Nursing Service (PMRAFNS) is the nursing branch of the Royal Air Force. It was established as the RAF Temporary Nursing Service in 1918 and became part of the permanent establishment as the RAF Nursing Service on 27 January 1921. It received the royal prefix after Princess Mary agreed to become its Patron in June 1923. To mark this occasion the PMRAFNS Association will be organising a Cocktail Party and Thanksgiving Service on the 15th June 2023. Please see link below for more details and how to apply.
This was the first time that the PMRAFNS Association was represented at the PMRAFNS Symposium, it was an opportunity to inform those serving members of the work that the Association does and see if we can pick up any new members. It was a very good event especially the dinner on the 29th at Halton House. It was great to meet our serving colleagues and to chat with one another.

Congratulations to the following PMRAFNS Personnel:
Group Captain Emma Redman RRC
Wing Commander Sharon Wheeler ARRC
Sqn Ldr Mary O’Neill KVRM
A contingent from the PMRAFNS Association and serving PMRAFNS personnel represent the PMRAFNS at the Field of Remembrance on the 10th November 2022

This was the first face to face AGM and dinner for 2 years it was great to see everyone again. There we two visits planned to see the C130 and A400M aircraft. The C130 will be going out of service next years so it was good to see this aircraft again. There were lots of memories discussed of doing Aeromed flights in the C130. Thanks to all the Aircrew and Flight Nurses who showed us around both aircraft and gave us displays of their current equipment that they use to transport casualties. They were welcoming and very enthusiastic about their roles in the PMRAFNS.
I would like to thank the Reunion team and the all the crews for a great day.
